Baton Rouge, LA (Sports Network) - Charles Scott ran for 114 yards and scored a touchdown on just 12 carries as the 15th-ranked LSU Tigers posted a 35-10 victory over the Tulane Green Wave at Tiger Stadium.

Jarrett Lee was 8-for-20 on pass attempts for 97 yards with a TD strike to Brandon LaFell, who finished with three catches for 46 yards.

Keilan Williams and Stevan Ridley both scored rushing touchdowns for LSU (6-2), which returns to conference play next Saturday with a heavyweight SEC West battle against second-ranked Alabama. The Crimson Tide and Tigers are 1-2, respectively, in the West standings.

The Tigers began a string of five straight home games with last Saturday's crushing defeat, 52-38, to then ninth-ranked Georgia, sending the defending national champions to their second loss in three games at the time.

Kevin Moore and Joe Kemp split time under center for Tulane with Moore completing 6-of-11 passes for 44 yards and Kemp hitting on 5-of-12 throws for 40 yards in the loss.

Travis Burks provided the only fireworks with a 43-yard interception return for a score for Tulane (2-6), which has lost four in a row.
