NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Vanderbilt football coach Bobby Johnson had some lighthearted comments Monday about playing No. 4 Florida this coming Saturday.

Johnson said he'd allow the streaking Gators to play with ten if they wanted to.

Florida is the only SEC team to score more than 300 points this season.

The Gators can clinch a berth in the SEC title game with a win Saturday night in Nashville.

Vanderbilt (5-3, 3-2) can keep its own hopes alive with an upset that also would make the Commodores bowl eligible for the first time since 1982. They have lost three straight but had an open date to heal up, rest up and take a deep breath. Johnson expects to have receiver George Smith healthy and nickelback Darlron Spead back from a broken leg.
